Caring for the Caregiver

At UT Health San Antonio School of Nursing, we recognize that care for a person with a chronic illness or disability is not complete without addressing the needs of the caregiver. Focusing on caregivers of a person with Alzheimer's or other dementias, the mission of the Caring for the Caregiver program is to improve the quality of life for family caregivers and those they care for with evidence-based services, support, education and research.
